A new sexual abuse allegation has been lodged with the New York Police Department (NYPD) against imprisoned movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
A 61-year-old woman (who cannot be named for legal reasons) filed a complaint with the NYPD Special Victims Division, alleging that Weinstein forced her to perform oral sex on him in a Manhattan nightclub in 1995 or 1996.
Detectives are now investigating the case after the NYPD classified the assault as a 1st degree criminal sexual act, a crime that has no statute of limitation on prosecution under state law.
More than 100 women have claimed that Weinstein sexually harassed or assaulted them during his career as a movie mogul.
Weinstein is already in prison after he was convicted in February in New York of rape and predatory sexual assault involving actor Jessica Mann and former production assistant Mimi Haley.
He is currently housed in the Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, N.Y., east of Buffalo after he was sentenced to 23 years imprisonment.
He was charged Oct. 3 in Los Angeles for sexually assaulting five more women a decade ago.
One of the Los Angeles victims alleges he assaulted her in a Beverly Hills hotel in 2004 or 2005. A second alleges he attacked her in a hotel there in 2010.
He is also accused of assaulting two women separately in 2009 and 2010.
