The UBA Foundation – an arm of the UBA Group – has shown financial support to the Asisat Oshoala Foundation for their December projects.

UBA Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility is committed to the betterment of communities, and they have extended their responsibility to the foundation that is committed to helping young girls.

The Asisat Oshoala Foundation is geared towards giving young girls hope through education and sports, and the UBA Foundation has shown support to the foundation of the Nigeria Super Falcons captain, Asisat Oshoala.

The Asisat Oshoala Foundation just concluded the 2020 edition of the football4girls and are set to embark on a borehole project in a community in Ikorodu, and the UBA Foundation has financially supported these projects.

The borehole project is one of the foundation’s key donations. The borehole project has been done in Mushin previously, now focus will be on the Ikorodu community to provide a safe and hygienic pipe-borne water source.

Asisat Oshoala Foundation also distributed 500 facemasks and sanitizers to health centres in Lagos to curb the spread of the
COVID-19.

The Asisat Oshoala Foundation will also continue the INSPIRE GIRLS AFRICA PROJECT, which is basically on Talent discovery, self-confidence, academic excellence and health education. It is a project that started in 2017 and more than 1000 girls take part each year from different countries. The 2020 more than 3000 girls have participated and 2021 is expected to be more.

The BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT is also part of the Asisat Oshoala Foundation project, which helps provide educational materials for young girls in school and also help take them off the streets.

In addition to all these, there is also a FOOD PROJECT, which was launched in 201. The project seeks to end hunger and poverty by empowering people to lead lives of self-reliance, meet their own basic needs
and build better futures.
