A Tammy Abraham brace and a Thiago Silva strike saw Chelsea return to winning ways, with a convincing 3-0 win against West Ham United in Monday night’s Premier League game at Stamford Bridge.
Heading into the game, Chelsea had lost their last two Premier League fixtures against Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Though the win against the Hammers came at a cost as the Blues lost Ben Chilwell to injury just 10 minutes into the game.
The victory took Frank Lampard’s side to fifth position on 25 points in the league table.
Chelsea took the lead in the 10th minute through Silva who produced a thumping header.
Abraham doubled Chelsea’s lead on 78 minutes as he steered the ball into the far corner.
And in the 80th minute Abraham grabbed his second goal, coolly slotting the ball in from close range.
Up next for Chelsea is another London derby this time against struggling Arsenal at the Emirates.
