Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Wilfred Ndidi, a midfielder for Leicester City and the Super Eagles of Nigeria, during the January transfer window.
Instead of buying a new midfielder, the Red Devils signed Raphael Varane, Jason Sancho, and Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
Scott McTominay, Fred, and Nemanja Matic, all of Manchester United’s midfielders, have struggled this season, while Paul Pogba might be free to talk to rival teams as early as January 2022.
Manchester United may now attempt to sign Ndidi in January, according to a recent report from Fichajes.
Ndidi is seen by the club as a risk-free transfer who will boost the midfield department immediately as they wait to sign their long-term objective, Declan Rice, in the summer.
Ndidi, 24, has started nine times in all competitions this season and has been one of the top defensive midfielders in the Premier League over the past three seasons.
