“You see Mr President, most of us supported you because we know your antecedents because of what you did in Lagos. But you see, what you did in Lagos, you mobilised Lagosians to fix Lagos which is to be expected, what is more natural than that?
However, you cannot mobilise Lagosians to fix Nigeria. You have to mobile Nigerians to fix Nigeria. So you cannot form the core of a team, that is basically a Lagosian-based team to fix Nigeria, it is mathematically incongruous. It’s an incongruity. It is expected that you will mobilise a team of Lagosians to fix Lagos, well to that same extent you have to mobilise a team of Nigerians to fix Nigeria.
You see these Lagosians you brought with you to Abuja to help fix Nigeria, I mean with respect, they are all useless, starting from that your Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, the most useless amongst them. You will have to dismantle this team. With respect, my President, you have to dismantle it and build a Nigerian core. It’s not a team in terms of appointments, Ministers no, I mean your core team. It must no longer be a Lagosian team, it must be a Nigerian team, otherwise you will just continue like this.
Most of them are just interested in making money, they don’t love you, they are not interested in your welfare. They are not interested in your political welfare, they are not interested in moving Nigeria forward, these guys have been parasiting you for decades. Let me use my Delta parlance, Dem don parasite you reach, discard them.
You have to start dismantling them starting from that Gbaja. Throughout this period, it’s so astonishing you hardly hear from them. They have no ideas no originality, nothing. They think Nigeria is Lagos?
My dear President, please just dismantle this crazy Lagos team. Just get rid of these Lagos people and form a Nigerian team.
