LAMATA, TfL Wrap Up Initial Knowledge Sharing ProgramLagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) has concluded the first phase of a technical support program with Transport for London (TfL), funded by the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO).LAMATA Managing Director, Engr. Mrs. Abimbola Akinajo, expressed gratitude to the TfL team for their invaluable contributions, knowledge sharing, and assessment of Lagos’ transportation network. She also acknowledged the FCDO’s support in making the program possible.TfL expert, Ben Johnson commended LAMATA’s professionalism and the strong capacity within the organization in his final remarks.The final day of the program was attended by high-level government officials, including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation, Mr. Olawale Musa.Representatives from other key agencies, such as the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Lagos State Parking Authority, and Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency, were also present.
